Helen Lamb completed Three Kinds of Kissing – the story of small-town Scottish girlhood, of the ties that bind and the ties that break – just weeks before her sudden and untimely death in March 2017. Tonight is an occasion for lovers of good writing to celebrate the launch of her first and only novel. There will be readings from Three Kinds of Kissing, and Chris Powici and Magi Gibson will talk about Helen’s life as a writer and teacher.
More information on the Stirling (Macrobert Arts Centre, 27 September) and Edinburgh (25 October, Blackwell South Bridge) launches is available on our events page or via the Helen Lamb Facebook group.
All of the events are free to attend and everyone is welcome. Complimentary refreshments will also be available.
