When so much emphasis is often put on the finding and/or crafting of an author’s voice, what does it mean to blend voices and share authorship/ownership? This seminar, led by collaborative writing duo Laura Tansley and Micaela Maftei, will discuss their process of co-authorship, as well as wider questions, concerns and complications around the practice of collaborative writing and, more specifically, the shaping of a cowritten collection of work. We’ll look at some examples of work that can inform our group discussion and encourage participants to reflect on their own practice.
