Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA), 350 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow, G2 3JD.
Free and unticketed.
Join Vagabond Voices for an evening of conversation about three new books, with publishing director Allan Cameron.
Distinct in their genre and style, one book is a translation of a beloved Estonian classic, another is a fictional diary set in 1970s Frankfurt, and the third is a collection of acutely Scottish poetry. Hear about what individually brought these works to Vagabond Voices and then on to publication, and how the landscape of Scottish independent publishing looks in 2022.
Featuring Jerry Simcock's GISELLE AND MR MEMPHIS, A.H. Tammsaare's INDREK (volume II in the Truth and Justice pentalogy), and Sharon Black's THE LAST WOMAN BORN ON THE ISLAND.
